The Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A.) National Committee on Mental Health is proud to announce its inaugural Mental Health Mini-Grant Program. For this first-time pilot, the C.A.C.A. will distribute one-time mini-grants to community-based organizations to support culturally responsive projects that address mental health care disparities in Asian communities. The C.A.C.A recognizes that funding cuts to services, challenges to accessing resources, stigma, linguistic barriers, and shortage of culturally resonant providers deeply impact mental health outcomes within Asian communities. This pilot initiative will distribute one-time minigrants to empower and fund community-based organizations that are directly filling vital gaps and meeting the mental health care needs of diverse Asian communities.
