Tucson Lodge 2003 - 2005 Convention Report
Collaboration and partnership are the keys to success.
Members of the Tucson Lodge have been active for the past two years. Within its limits our Tucson Lodge officers and members partner with and provide assistance, active sponsorship, and support to the Pan Asian Community Alliance, the Tucson Chinese Association, and other organizations through planning and participating in their programs.
The following is an accounting for some of the events between September 2003 to July 2005:
- Thanksgiving and Membership Dinner in November 2003 at Rose Garden. Featured topic was a "Bicycle Tour through China." Guest speaker was Norm Land.
- Participated in the 2004 and 2005 Asian Lunar New Year events sponsored by the Pan Asian Community Alliance, Tucson Chinese Association, etc.
- April 2004 Spring Festival Dinner with attendance from several Phoenix community members. Guest speaker was Mayor Bob Walkup on the topic of the "Economic Development of Tucson, with special comments on Business with the Asian Pacific Rim Countries."
